As a marine biologist and scuba instructor from Nassau, Bahamas, I prioritize comfort and efficiency during my travels. My recent stay at this hotel offered a blend of traditional and modern elements, which appealed to my appreciation for cultural immersion. The VIP room I occupied was spacious and clean, providing a pleasant view, although the absence of access keys was surprising. Despite having card key-equipped doors, the management's excuse for not providing keys-claiming previous guests had taken them-was disconcerting and raised security concerns. Tariq, the sole staff member who communicated effectively in English, was my key source of assistance, but overall, the staff's disposition left much to be desired. The check-in process was smooth, and the hotel's location in Al Mubarraz allowed easy access to local shops at Alqaria Souk, enhancing the cultural experience. While the amenities included dry cleaning and luggage storage, the lackadaisical attitude of the staff suggests a need for improvement. In essence, the hotel has potential, yet it requires managerial attentiveness to elevate the experience.
